Avocado, Egg, and Za’atar Bagel

INGREDIENTS

toasted bagel or bread (regular or gluten-free)

sliced avocado 

eggs, cooked to your liking (directions for a jammy egg below)

olive oil

flakey salt

za’atar

METHOD

  1.  bring a small pot of water to a boil. carefully drop in your egg and cook for 7-8 minutes. drain water and run egg under cold water or place in an ice bath. peel and slice.

  2. spread avocado on toasted bagel and top with your egg.

  3. drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and za’atar. you can add pepper and/or chili flakes if you like!
