Chocolate Covered Banana Pops

INGREDIENTS

Bananas

Dark chocolate chips

Coconut oil

Toppings: chopped pistachios, peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, freeze-dried raspberries/strawberries, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, crushed graham crackers

METHOD

  1. slice banana into 1 in pieces.

  2. skewer the slices.

  3. place in freezer for at least one hour.

  4. melt chocolate in microwave or over double boiler with a splash of coconut oil to loosen it a bit (I used @enjoylifefoods dark chocolate chips).

  5. dip banana in chocolate and sprinkle with toppings.

  6. freeze until chocolate hardens and ENJOY.
