Fried Eggs with Dates and Turmeric

INGREDIENTS

olive oil

butter

1 date, diced

turmeric

2 eggs

salt

pepper

METHOD

1. Heat up olive oil and butter in a pan. Sprinkle some turmeric and pepper. Stir.

2. Add diced date to the pan and sauté for a few minutes.

3. Add in eggs and season with salt and pepper. Put the lid on and let the eggs do their thing until they’re cooked to your liking.

4. Serve on top of your favorite toasted bread (I paired my eggs with @cadorobakery sprouted quinoa bread).
