Stovetop Lemony + Garlicky Broccolini

INGREDIENTS

Olive oil

1 medium red onion, peeled and cut into rings or sliced

1 lemon

2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

Red chili flakes

Broccolini, roughly chopped

Dark leafy greens such as kale, Swiss chard, or collard greens, thinly sliced

Sea salt

Black pepper

METHOD

  1. Thinly slice half the lemon.

  2. Heat up oil in a pan. Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes. Then, add in the lemon slices and cook for another 5 minutes. Add in garlic and chili flakes. Sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Throw in the broccolini and greens. Squeeze in the other half of the lemon and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Cook until broccolini is tender and greens are wilted. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Enjoy!
