Perfectly Cooked Stovetop Chicken Breast

INGREDIENTS

olive oil 

6-8 oz piece of boneless, skinless chicken breast at room temp

salt

pepper 

garlic powder (optional)


METHOD

  1. Pat down chicken breast using a paper towel.

  2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. Heat up a pan and coat with olive oil.

  4. Sear chicken for one minute and then flip. put the lid on the pan and cook for 10 minutes. 

  5. Remove pan from the heat and let the chicken sit for another 10 minutes, with the lid ON. 

  6. Slice chicken on the bias and enjoy!
