Cherry Cacao Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl
serves 1
INGREDIENTS
½ cup frozen wild blueberries
¼ cup frozen pitted cherries
¼ cup frozen mango
¼ small banana (you can add more if you like it on the sweeter side)
1-2 big handfuls spinach
1 tablespoon peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)
2-3 teaspoons of raw cacao powder (depending on how chocolatey you like it)
2-3 tablespoons kefir or yogurt
2-3 tablespoons coconut water
METHOD
Place all ingredients into a blender or food-processor. Once well blended, taste and add more cacao powder if necessary or liquid (depending on desired thickness). If you don’t have a high-speed/power blender, you will most likely have to add more liquid to get it going.
Pour into a bowl and add toppings of your choice (figs, cacao nibs, coconut flakes, granola)
