Pan-Seared Tofu
INGREDIENTS
1 package of extra-firm or high protein tofu, patted dry and cut into rectangles or triangles
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper
METHOD
Heat up a pan (preferable non-toxic nonstick or stainless steel) for 1 minute and then add enough avocado oil to generously coat the bottom of the pan. Heat on medium for another minute.
Carefully add your tofu triangles to the pan in a single layer. Season the with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Let the tofu cook on medium heat for a couple of minutes or until the underside is golden and crisp.
Flip the tofu and season with salt. Cook for another few minutes. Transfer to a plate and enjoy!
