Pan-Seared Tofu

INGREDIENTS

1 package of extra-firm or high protein tofu, patted dry and cut into rectangles or triangles

Avocado oil

Sea salt

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Black pepper

METHOD

  1. Heat up a pan (preferable non-toxic nonstick or stainless steel) for 1 minute and then add enough avocado oil to generously coat the bottom of the pan. Heat on medium for another minute.

  2. Carefully add your tofu triangles to the pan in a single layer. Season the with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Let the tofu cook on medium heat for a couple of minutes or until the underside is golden and crisp.

  3. Flip the tofu and season with salt. Cook for another few minutes. Transfer to a plate and enjoy!
