Stovetop Granola

INGREDIENTS

1 cup rolled oats

2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup coconut flakes

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

2-3 teaspoons cacao nibs (optional)

cinnamon, as much as you like

dash of sea salt

1.5 tablespoons coconut oil or olive oil

1 tablespoon date syrup or maple syrup (if you like your granola on the sweeter side, add more)

METHOD

  1. Add oats, pumpkin seeds, and coconut flakes to a large pan. Toast on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning.

  2. Lower the heat and add in the hemp seeds, cacao nibs, cinnamon, and salt. Mix.

  3. Then, add coconut oil and date/maple syrup. Stir well and cook for another minute. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Store in a ziploc or airtight container. Enjoy!
