Balsamic-Roasted Purple Cabbage

INGREDIENTS

1 head purple cabbage

olive oil

balsamic (I used a combo of reduced balsamic and regular balsamic vinegar)

garlic powder

salt

pepper

red chili flakes

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees convection or 425 degrees F regular.

  2. Remove outer layer from cabbage and then give the head a rinse. Slice it up.

  3. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with balsamic, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

  4. Roast in oven until some pieces begin to crisp up.
