Easy Peasy Green Rice

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup basmati rice

3/4 cup filtered water

2 teaspoons plus more of olive oil

1/2-3/4 teaspoon salt

fresh dill, chopped

frozen green peas

turmeric

METHOD

Rinse and drain rice in a pot 3-4 times or until water becomes more clear. Add 3/4 cup of water to rinsed rice.

Place pot on stove and add 2 teaspoons olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir.

Bring rice to a boil and then lower to a simmer.

Once most of the water is absorbed, add in as much dill and frozen green peas as you like, and sprinkle in some turmeric. Stir.

Add a drizzle of olive oil and a bit more water. Place the lid on the pot and cook until rice is tender.
