Sumac and Pomegranate Nut Mix

adapted from Nik Sharma’s recipe

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup raw walnuts

1/4 cup raw cashews

2 tablespoons shelled raw/roasted pistachios

1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

2 teaspoons sesame seeds

1.5 teaspoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses

1.5 teaspoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon or more harissa

1/2 teaspoon sumac

salt


METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until nuts and seeds are thoroughly coated.

  3. Transfer to baking sheet and flatten into an even layer.

  4. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown stirring occasionally.

  5. Cool and enjoy!
